Timo Kohtamäki

Timo has long experience of business management and especially in the construction industry. Timo has been working for Lemminkäinen Corp. in managerial positions in different departments for 18 years. For the last five years he has been working as the President and CEO of the corporation.

At the moment, Timo is on a number of executive boards. He is the chairman of the board for Are Oy and Luja-Yhtiöt and a member of the board for Honkarakenne, Kreaten and AINS Group. He has also experience of many positions of responsibility in different instances. Presently, he is a member of the board of the Finnish Association of Civil Engineers RIL.  

In his free time, Timo’s hobbies include nature photography and sports.

As a Senior Business Advisor at BBI Group, Timo will develop the businesses of both BBI Group and our customers. Board work and the challenges and opportunities of strategy implementation are Timo’s core competencies which he wants to exploit to benefit the business development of BBI Group’s customers.
